A 4,000 s.f. house in Sedona, Arizona constructed for about $125 per square foot. The design requirements include a large, functional kitchen, extensive terraces for outdoor living, living areas capable of displaying a large art collection, and an indoor therapy pool. The client’s requirements for colors and finishes include black slate flooring, stainless steel appliances and countertops, and a grey / lavender palette for walls, ceilings, carpeting and decorative accents. The dark grey exterior stucco intentionally contrasts with Sedona’s red earth and dull green pinon and juniper vegetation.
